America's 250th Anniversary
A Historic Invitation to America's Next Generation

Some moments in history come only once.

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we are excited to invite
250 young people, ages 5–17, to become part of a lasting
commamorative tribute to our nation.

 Together, they will sign an America 250 Youth Declaration celebrating
gratitude, service, unity, responsibility, and hope—values that
strengthen communities and shape the future of America.

 Inspired by the timeless ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—
The World Is One Family—this one-time declaration reflects
values that unite us and uplifts each other.

 Once all 250 names are collected, the declaration will be permanently framed and shared with the Governor of New Jersey, members of Congress, and
other civic leaders as a commemorative expression of
the hopes and commitments of  America's next generation.

This isn't just 250 signatures.

It's a statement that, as America marks its 250th anniversary, Hindu American youth publicly commit themselves to service, ethical leadership, and active citizenship.

In gratitude, in service, in citizenship.

We are 250 Hindu American youth. As America marks 250 years, we give thanks for the freedom to practice our faith, to serve our communities, and to contribute to the life of this nation.

We are inheritors of two great traditions — the timeless wisdom of Dharma and the founding promise of America. We see no contradiction between them, only harmony: a shared belief in truth, duty, and the dignity of every person.

Guided by Seva, we pledge to serve. Guided by Ahimsa, we pledge to lead with compassion and without harm. Guided by Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family — we pledge to build bridges across every difference that would divide us.

We therefore commit ourselves to strengthen America through character, through service, and through respect for all — so that the next 250 years may shine brighter than the last.
